Basic Controls and Features

  • ON and OFF control power to the projector.

  • PC, VGA, and HDMI are inputs that can display on the projector.

    • PC: Displays what's on the local podium computer.

    • VGA: Displays a laptop connected to the VGA cable.

    • HDMI: Displays a laptop (or another device) connected to the HDMI cable.

  • DISPLAY MUTE: Also called "picture mute". Stops the projector from displaying the selected device without powering off.

Cable Guide

  • HDMI: Transfers audio and video signals.

    • Used for laptops, monitors, computers, projectors, and televisions.

  • VGA: Transfers video signals.

    • Used for computers and projectors.

  • AUX: Transfers audio input and output signals.

    • Used most frequently with VGA.

  • Ethernet: Connects to local area network (LAN), allowing for internet without using WiFi.

    • Used for laptops.

  • USB: Connects devices to computers.

Screen Sharing

  • Screen Sharing Mode: To switch between screen display modes, press the Windows key (left of Alt key) and P at the same time.

    • Duplicate: Displays podium computer on the projector.

    • Extend: Displays an extended screen of the podium computer.

Owl & Webcam

The Owl and Webcam are two different cameras that connect to the podium computer through USB cables that plug directly into the front of the desktop, seen in the image below, with their labels.
