Change Course Availability
In Canvas, your course needs to be made available before your students can view the content. If the course is unavailable, they will not see it in their course list.

To check to see if the course you are teaching is available, simply log into Blackboard, open your course, and look towards the top for the message pictured below.

If the course is not available, follow these instructions to make it available.

1. In the course, in the left toolbar under "Course Management" click the "Customization" drop-down menu and select "Properties."
2. Under "Set Availability" for "Make Course Available" select "Yes."
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Submit" to save the changes.
Your course will now be available to your students!
