HDMI

Transfers audio and video signals.

Used for laptops, monitors, computers, projectors, televisions, etc.

VGA

Transfers video signals only.

Used for computers and projectors.

AUX (3.5 mm)

Transfers audio signals only.

Often used in combination with a VGA cable.

Ethernet (CAT-5)

Connects your device to the local area network (LAN), allowing for internet without using WiFi.

Comes in many colors: blue, yellow, black, grey, etc.

USB

Connects external devices to a laptop or computer.

In CUI classrooms, a USB connection is required to use the OWLs and/or Webcams.
