Cable Box Connection

The Uppers and Lowers dorms all contain a Cox Cable Box somewhere in the living room space. To connect the box to your TV and get cable, follow these instructions.



First ensure the box is receiving power. Every box should come with its power cable, so search the drawers of the dorm for it if it is not immediately visible. If the power cord cannot be found, please contact us and we can provide a replacement.

There are two possible connections to transmit cable to your TV: HDMI or Coax. HDMI is more common, but some older TVs may also take Coax.


Either way, connecting that cord to the TV will allow Cable to be accessed.
